Next year the
ABC of Flatland is going to take place on
February 27 and 28 in Alencon, France. There will be four classes: amateur, expert, master and pro. Organizer Kevin Meyer told us that it's going to be part of the new
French Flatland Circuit. 2016 is going to be the first year for the circuit and it's more or less a test run. The idea was born at the Com'in Lyon contest where the French contest organizers and Alex Jumelin had a meeting and came up with the idea. For now there is no big sponsor or organization behind it but we believe it's a good starting point and national circuits can lead to more structure for our sport. The guys in Colombia and Brazil have been doing national circuits for many years, the AM Flat Circuit and World Circuit are other good examples.
