Yeah the valley is known for being hot from June-September with temps in
the 90's and 100's plus most days and that is why we have the night spots.
The bigger and better one is the Sycamore Valley Park courts(Lit until 10PM)
We just got done sweeping and blowing the courts, where they are really good
and we ride there from 6PM-9:30ish

It is currently 91 degrees in Danville and the valley..93 degrees in Livermore
and we are so use this spot and we have a schedule so we can ride during the
warm days. The critters walking around from the regional park and large hills
behind the park..especially the wild Turkeys and Bush Rabbits and the wind are
things we cannot control!

Update on the SRV Valley Flatland scene..the first shipment of several has come into the
house and I was able to give OSG some new Dia-Tech hombre brakes with fiesta for his
front brakes..since the ones he has now are pretty worn. The idea is to have smaller parts
in the house to supply the SRV Flat Riders with parts when they need it and the second
order have been placed.OSG really needs back brakes too on his Hoffman Strowler that
he rides. Here is an idea of parts that will be in the house..ODI grips,Upper(Shorty) and
Lower Gyro Cables,Slic Cables,Dia-Tech Hombres Brakes with Fiesta,Seatposts and Pedals
along others like Tires,Tubes,Chains.

This will make sure that number one that the riders here will have the parts they need and
no needed trips to Clayton Bikes, which is the closest bmx shop here. This will first start
to build up the scene here and also be supportive of the flat riders.OSG and myself are
even talking about doing an zine again..if the scene grows here enough and we have
plenty of places to ride at.I have done this before and it has worked pretty well with
this.

The Valley flatland update..
We rode  today at the Pleasanton
Roller hockey rink despite the high
winds. It has been very bad with these
high winds of 15-18 mph winds and to
the fact that it is impossible to ride in
such winds.

THE RINK IS USED OFF AND ON BY ROLLER HOCKEY PLAYERS!
7 MINUTES FROM OSG APARTMENT AND 14 MINUTES
FROM THE NOR-CAL FLATLAND HOUSE.ENDENTED A
BIT AND SURROUNDED BY FENCE AND OTHER THINGS..
THE WINDS ARE NOT SO BAD..EVEN BLOWING AT 16MPH
LIKE TODAY!  SEE PHOTOS DOWN BELOW!

By the way as this roller rink is the most Southern spot of
our many spots to ride and The Spot..the World Famous
Flatland riding Spot and St Isodore's Church spot are the
most Northern Flatland Spots..here in the Valley!

Nice spot, reminds me of mine and Teak’s spot at the roller-hockey rink in Miami. Wind is a no go tho!

Yeah it is a little better today at 12 MPH and even that
is very hard to ride with..plus it is 92 degrees here and
we are going to ride the usual 7-10PM tonight..when it
is cooler and the winds will hopefully calm down!

We have no control over this weather and we have tons
of places to ride..but this weather is just Wacked! Wacked!
Wacked!

PHOTO BELOW IS ANOTHER ONE OF THE ARENA RIDING
SPOT THAT WE HAVE..OF THE EIGHT OR SO RIDING SPOTS!

We should plan a summer 2020 NorCal jam/session and try to get word out to everyone we can in NorCal. I'd host one here in Modesto but Modesto sucks for large spots, plus it's too damn hot (for example it's 105 F Today), so maybe we could use one of your spots Mutt? Or maybe somewhere in the Bay Area if you know of a good place.

As long as we plan it ahead of time, like atleast a couple weeks  in advance, then I can make sure I'm available for it. Maybe an upcoming Saturday or Sunday in like late July, or in August or September. I'm thinking that atleast we could get Mutt, OSG, Jason, Richard (me) Pete maybe and anybody else we can get ahold of. I haven't ridden with anybody else is over 10 years, so I'm not sure who else is out there anymore. Are there still riders out in the Santa Cruz area, or how about in Sacramento or Fresno?

Would be cool to try and have at-least 1 big Jam every year. What do you NorCal guys think? Or is there already one planned?

OSG and I are not riding together..I am riding by myself these days and long story on that
but he is just really selfish, hard headed along other things and secondly with the virus as
that is not a good idea,a large amount of riders together and i just cannot wear a fricken
mask and ride..i cannot ride with a mask on...period!

Thirdly..we do have a Nor-Cal jam every year and it happens in March....this is at the S.F.
Clocktower and the old days of having Nor-Cal flat sessions are over...Stephen Hearns has
moved back East,Ed Benoil no longer rides flatland, who knows where Jesse T is at..I am
not sure if Paul Osicka or Dylan Worsley riding much up in Grass Valley,Ying Ying is busy
with other things and Jason and Gangsta Kyle..I do not know! A lot do show up for the
Clocktower Jam in March..around 14-15 riders and that is really the only thing going on
in Nor-Cal for Flatland!

Everyone doing there own thing is all I am trying to say! There are you and Chinedu and
just wrote him a message..not sure if he is still in Antioch or where he is ..right now and
I guess Weekend sessions could happen and if you and Chinedu came out and stayed at
my house.I mean there is also JIN JIN but he works 6 days a week and i been telling him
to only work 5 days a week and get the weekend off,,so he could stay at my house on
Friday and Saturday night for a weekend session.

OSG now lives in San Ramon, the town next over and he moved here to the valley like a
little more than a month ago wth his wife..getting an apartment in the Dougherty Valley.
So yeah everything is possible now!

Eh that sucks. Life goes on for everyone I suppose.

I really hate riding in SF, I hate the drive, the tolls, the parking, the tons of people, the riding surface, etc but if that is the only NorCal jam then I guess I'll try to go next year.

I doubt I could stay at your house, life and family and all gets in the way of over night stays,  but I could come out for a Saturday or Sunday session sometime. Almost everything is shutdown again in California, I posted on Sunday then Monday things get locked down again. Sigh.
