Alternative Tire Options: MAXXIS
« on: April 18, 2015, 04:59:41 PM »
Lots of riders have a hard time finding flatland specific tires locally.

MAXXIS actually has a huge variety of BMX tires that may have been designed for other types of riding but can work good for flatland and are easy to find at your LBS.
They have lightweight folding kevlar tires and heavier economic options in 1.65, 1.75, 1.85 and 1.95.
Here is a list of alternative options:

Torch - Foldable (1.75 & 1.95) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/1269

Grifter - Foldable (1.85) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/1272

DTH - Foldable (1.75 & 1.95) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/1274

Roamer (1.65) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/1275

Miracle (1.85) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/1950

M-Tread (1.85) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/458

Ringworm (1.95) - http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/1949
