Thanks! Good to know, maybe one day I would like to have another colour for the hub shell and so I have an idea of what to do...  ::)

Thanks for posting this ixtapa. Your custom made socket extractor tool was innovative. Well done.
Years ago I too tried to get a hubset anodized. The hubshell was the same and I decided to get it spray painted as I didn't know if I could remove the steel without damaging the shell.
The front hub was magnesium and would ignite if anodized was attempted, thats also why I went with plan b, spraypainting.
