Street tyres for Flat: Fit FAF's Vs Demolition Momentums?
« on: December 11, 2014, 10:59:39 AM »
Been running Fit FAF's for a while now, and in my experience they do have the tendency to wash out a tad at certain angles...
Any further input on Momentums are like for similar usage?

The Momentums can be a little bit slippery but it's not much of a problem once they're broken in. I've only ran them on the front though.

They carve and turbine better than any tire I've ever used. A new Momentum at 110 psi carves and turbines more easily for me than a bald Frequency G at 145 psi. They feel like a slicker version of the Ares tires.

When they say 110 psi they mean it. I blew one up at around 125. They roll so well though that 110 is plenty.

They do wear quite quickly though but its nice to not have to wear a tire halfway before it gets responsive.

The weight on them is exceptional , feels like you're floating.  In regards to the Momentum

Thanks for the good tips. Are there any shipping companies that are Escrow/shipping in one for that kinda thing?
