Straight lace on the drive side, risky.

seems nice!

how did you manage to remove the steel part on the shell before the anodizing treatment?

Well is  little bit hard to pull off the steel parts, but i make a homemade stractor.

Hi,
looks good!
What do you mean by "stractor"? I would also like to know how you removed the steel insert. I think it is mandatory for the anodising process, isn't it?

nice idea for the extractor!
But how did you hold the shell when you pulled off the metal part with your extractor?   maybe you kept the freecoaster mounted on the wheel before to pull off the metal part

friend of mine did the same operation and the shell was not mounted on the wheel, so he managed to hold the shell in the mandrell of a lathe (not in fonction) when pulling off the metal part. And the metal part was so stucked that it required to tight a lot the shell on the mandrell and unfortunatelly the shell was marked a little bit..

Thanks for the pictures. I still don't get it completely. Are these grooves in the steel part already there or did you do them?
I have never removed the driver side bearing out of the hub shell so I don't know.
