Well it won't happen unless people like yourself don't take the time out and click on a hyperlink.

Oh just like they took it out of the X-GAMES for lack of interest and making any money
for them and like some in the DEW TOUR said that they would be adding flatland and
it never happened and it was shown as an exhibition sport instead.

Get real people as flatland  is super small with what 2,000 plus hardcore riders in the
world or so and the rest just ride like I do know and I can no longer call myself an even
hardcore flat riders anymore and ride 2-3 times a week.The point is that there is still
not enough interest to put flatland in the X-GAMES or the DEW TOUR and maybe we
should organize the events we have now ,even more better with a 7 contest WORLD
FLATLAND ORGANIZATION instead of this 4 comp series and make it truly a WORLD WIDE
flatland organization.

 I really think series within the countries also need to be better organized and I have
some ideas to tie these individual country series to the world flatland organization with
one of these country series comp be part of the overall 7 world flatland organization
yearly series. There are already small numbers of these already in place and it just
needs to be expanded a bit from 4 or 5 world flatland organization comps  to 7 and
include more countries series plus also work on more in country flatland series in
organization etc....

I think once this is done and for the world flatland organization to put out a quality
magazine maybe bi-monthly at first and then monthly with coverage of these world
flat events,riders and such then flatland might grow enough for the X-GAMES to come
to us to get flatland in and the same with the DEW TOUR!

WE DO HAVE THE BASE FOR THIS ALREADY IN PLACE AND ALL WE NEED TO DO IS
EXPAND IT,ORGANIZE IT A BIT MORE AND FOR THE WORLD FLATLAND ORGANIZATION
TO PUT OUT A PUBLICATION LIKE THE ABA DID FOR RACERS OR THE NBL ETC....

Hell what do I know as I am a dying flatland rider with a f*cked up disease that will
probably kill me at one point and there is no cure for COPD and you can just control
it a bit and slow it down. I got to go now to an adviser meeting for my University but
comment on this and this is not the first time I have said this and i been saying this
for years now!

It won't happen what I wrote about because these things need
to happen..smart ass and so you know Flatland needs to get
more of...

1. more organized of flatland AS A WHOLE!

2. more countries having flatland series
as that is happening slowly now!

3. the world flatland organization to expand
from 4 comps to 7 including some of these so
called country flatland series comps

4.open more flatland schools for those getting
into the sport and that is happening a bit now!

5.the world flatland organization needs to publish
a bi-monthly at first and then monthly flatland
magazine..sorta like the American Bicycle Assc.
and national bicycle league and others did that
ran bicycles events!

SOME OF THESE ARE ALREADY IN PLACE OR SEMI IN
PLACE AND JUST NEEDS TO BE EXPANDED AND THEN
ORGANIZED AND IN TURN MORE INTEREST WILL HAPPEN
IN FLATLAND AND EVENTS LIKE THE X-GAMES AND THE
DEW TOUR WILL GET INTERESTED IN FLATLAND IN
PUTTING THEM INTO THEIR EVENTS!

I voted for racing. Then I went back and voted for flatland. Money isn't the issue at all, people will watch and pay for anything interesting.. But, flatland on love tv would be the most boring unorganized thing they could show because of formatting and since nobody likes any form of flatland judgment and formatting, what would be the point other than commercial revenue between the events people actually want to see?

Flatland is a reclusive sport and originally formed by generally reclusive people (even though most are very outgoing now) and should not be on tv. The same 10 guys you always see will be in it. No difference other than location and title. If there were a chance for the everyday regular flatland rider to compete then it would be different. Possibly a better show as well

I TOO AGREE WITH THIS
We should keep it to the point of competitions and world organization
like we have but expand it a bit more and Flatland does not have the
excitement it needs and maybe more of a better formatting,judging
and packaging of it as a sport then mostly an art done by individuals!
