Hey folks I'm looking to buy a set of khe tanaka forks. I remember flatlandfuel stating you couldn't use a biz house stem on these forks. Is that the case with other stems that work in a similar way. I.e the st Martin x26 or sequence hook stem? Your thoughts please.

The forks did not like the excessive clamping forces that needed to be applied to keep
the stem clamped.

tanaka forks are the best, but it's a bit "hard" to put on any stem and especially the fork crown race, i don't know why but they have a thick layer of paint on the steerer tube that make it too big in diameter.

I've had a sequence hook stem on my old khe with tanaka forks on it, seemed fine to me.
