Good timing pulling it back up.  I was wondering about this.  I've made it past the haven't been on a bike in over a decade to proper regular person New to flatland so I'm starting to wonder about the little things.  Don't want to develop bad habits because this is hard enough and I don't want to relearn if I can help it.

I pretty much figured keep the weight distributed evenly and balanced by putting the peg where I am used to feeling proper squat/deadlift/power clean since those are pretty athletic moves.  I've noticed it's easier to balance in the arch, but my foot can turn it I'm not paying attention and ping the spokes or pull me to the side.  Going more toward the ball than the feel I described before because looking at the inhuman stuff some of these guys do it looks like being at optimal jump position to extend the ankle, knee, and hip together fast seems like the best idea if I ever plan on linking anything.
