that's not true off-set as the centre of the seat is still mostly centered over the centre of the seatpost.
look closely- all Kink did was to rotate the "teeth" upwards on one side to give them space to place their bolt system. the normal pivotal post has the teeth @ 8 o'clock position to 4 o'clock position, Kinks' is just at the 7 o'clock to 3 o'clock position.
if there is any off-set, its only by millimetres...

I agree its a pointless idea really. The current pivitol set up seems fine to me, dont see the need for this.

Subrosa make a pivitol layback post buyt i think its only the super short posts, and the layback is very little. But it is marketed as a layback.

The eclat post looks to have the top offset towards the back, but not sure if its a true offset.

Given that pivotal posts can be made somewhat easily in chromoly, it wouldn't be too hard to get a lay back post made. especially as the pivotal base is available for purchase.

Just get an alienation slider seat they can go waaayyy back with a standard seatpost plus u can ajust it,as foe the seat post sounds like there running outta ideas for parts this being the result...
