It's been a while, but it's time to get back to basics! Last year this turned out to be our biggest jam and we had it in Fort Lupton of all places! This time since a lot of folks want a Denver jam, will have the jam at our trusty ol' spot where it all started (and a favorite to many) next to Cherry Creek Shopping Center on Sunday July 21st at 10am (to avoid some of the heat) and will go as long as we want to ride. Once again, we are going to have burgers and water while we are there.

Don't forget to mark the date and spread the word. Anyone is welcome, so bring your family and friends to watch, ride and hangout! Pass the word to anyone that would be interested! Skill level isn't important. This is BMX, so if you ride, your family! New school, old school, mid school, preschool, doesn't matter. We like it all! Bring sunscreen and bug spray just in case.

See you all there!

So come on out and support Colorado flatland!

As always the Dog Days Jam was a complete blast! Had a really great turnout, weather was great, burgers were tasty and the riding was really good! Man it was hot, but the shade from the trees and the canopy was great. Lots of water and Gatorade consumed.

The prize of the jam (with tongue firmly planted in cheek) went out to Brian "Yellow" Gavagan for spending the most time on the ground. Brian showed up wearing a long sleeve white shirt and we didn't think he was hot enough, so we got him a black long sleeve Colorado Flatland Jams shirt. Roasty-toasty!

Unfortunately there will not be an edit for this one. Our resident videographer couldn't make it this time and I get too busy riding to film. lol Phil Morris did take some pics that I am sure are coming soon.

Thanks to our sponsors Fameuse Design, Denver Electric and Reklamation Bikes for supporting Colorado flatland! See you all at the next Jam in mid June!

Thanks to everyone for coming out! Phil Morris, Brian Gavagan, Dusten Blair, Robert Reilly, Jake Umberger, Fred Gates, Koit McIntire, Andrew Wickham, Max Condiotti and Kevin who dropped in on his way back to NC!

Keep an eye out for the next jam. The August jam will be extra special! In the mean time, see you at the ProAmJam!

Colorado Flatland Jams: Long Cold Winter Jam!
Date: Sunday, February 23, 2014Time: 11:00 am until ?
Location: Touch of Shade 3609 Austin Bluffs Pkwy. STE 12, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918

The Long Cold Winter Jam is here! This year it is bittersweet as this Jam traditionally has happened inside Joe’s Bike Shop. Joe’s has since closed so we have to have in a different spot. RIP Joe’s Bike Shop…

Of course, once again we are at the mercy of weather also, so we are playing it safe (hopefully for the last time until next fall)! We are going to have the next Jam at 11 am on February 23rd, 2014 at Touch of Shade (3609 Austin Bluffs Pkwy. STE 12, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918). It could clear out, but we just don’t know until the day arrives. If things start to clear out, be may move it outside, but if we do that we will give plenty of notice. We are going to have food, pops, water and beer while we are there.

See you all there!
