I can't imagine how good a seatpost looks being so ... straightc...long ...cilinder-like shaped, LOL! Just Sexy!

It's definetly not worth the money, go for a cheaper one, buy another if you ruin it.

I manage to bend one, somehow.  And thompson would not warrantee it because they said i had to have put so much pressure to bend the post, like hard crash or something.    I did not crash that hard.  It's a nice post, but not worth the price.  Go for something else.

I would say if you don't care about weight get the Odyssey Jim's Beam or the GI post. There really strong and won't bend on you. Plus you won't have to spend 70 bucks on a post that might possibly bend or snap and you have no warrenty. With the Odyssey posts you have a lifetime warrenty. Thats just my opinion though.

Yeah, thats true. If you cut the post down on the Odyssey's you can save alot of weight on it though. I just don't ride alum. posts because I bent like 2 of them. Maybe the Thompson is stronger than the ones I rode idk.lol
