We The People - Utopia Line
« on: January 22, 2014, 09:06:38 PM »

We The People is taking half a step back in the flatland bizz after 5 years. We already mentioned the Utopia frame after the Eurobike exhibition. In the meantime all the details on the rest of the Utopia line were released. There is a neat looking handlebar and a fork (with 15mm offset) that looks more "allround" than "flat". But as a little bird told us they asked a flatland rider to test an Utopia setup and we hope that's another step towards flatland. Stay tuned for more information!

You can find the specs of the Utopia FrameUtopia Bar, Utopia Fork in the parts section.

The testing fase is way over, these are already in production and will be available soon.

WTP played it safe on this return to flatland with "street friendly" designs...

WTP finally unveiled the 2015 completes and they did a great job.  The bikes and the catalog are great but I was expecting maybe to see a Utopia complete flatland bike...

I'm surprised that several brands are releasing new freecoasters that are breaking away from the KHE internals. I had a Colony coaster back in my street days that was entirely KHE. Within the last few months we've seen the Profile Z-Coaster, Eclat Blind, and now the WTP Helix. Out of the half dozen coasters I have used in the last few years, not a single one delivered completely without fail. I look forward to seeing how this new "generation" of hubs turns out.
