Chris Poulus Book: Get The Most Out Of Your Teenage Years
« on: January 08, 2014, 11:14:47 PM »

Chris Poulus is "the 1991 Bicycle Stunt World Champion and the Gold Standard of Youth Motivational Speakers". At least that's what it says on his website chrispoulos.com. We know Chris from Instagram where he is constantly posting photos of flatland shows which he does in schools all over the US. His shows are always a combination of flatland and motivational speech. He even wrote a book now called Get The Most Out Of Your Teenage Years which will be available in April 2014. We asked him for a little summary:

"The book is jam-packed with hilarious stories of Chris's “wild-child” antics growing up, as well as the timeless, common sense advice he shares with teenagers across the country at his live presentations. For the first time ever, Chris is putting all his wisdom into one place. Learn how to improve your self-image, resist peer pressure, and achieve all the goals you dream about. The book offers advice on everything from ways to avoid being bullied, to buying your first car. When finished reading, you will understand how to build more confidence in yourself, and be ready to face any adversity the world throws at you!"

We respect and thank Chris for presenting flatland to so many kids + teenagers and wish him good luck with the book project!

This is really awesome to see.  I remember his name from when I was first starting out!
The following is the truth.  The preceeding is a lie.

seen on http://www.chrispoulos.com/Bio.php :
In 2002, Chris decided to make a comeback as a competitor. He came out of retirement and won his first competition back, which was held in England. Although he did win a few competitions, Chris had limited success. Injuries kept him sidelined for most of his comeback.

somebody remembers which contest in 2002?
