Yeah, 360Bicycles that was in charge of the bike part pulled out of the contest at least a month ago, saying that it would have nothing to do with the guy organizing the whole contest and everyone in Spain tried to warn anyone going to Barcelona that although the page was still up, no one had heard from the organizer for a while and there was a very big chance that the contest wouldn´t happen. I talked to the guy organizing it a few weeks ago and he sounded crazy and people say that he was basically either stealing money or did not have the funds to put up what he was promising. Bummer. Madrid this weekend however is going to be awesome! Two bike contests in one weekend! Yeah! Who needs a beach when you have one of the biggest most active Flatland scenes in Europe, maybe all of the world?
