The French festival “Vibrations Urbaines” is the place to be for all people interested in urban cultures. For its 16th edition,
 this event will open from October 18 to 27, 2013 at Pessac (near Bordeaux, Gironde, France). Whatīs the plan? Bmx and skateboard contests, workshops, free sessions... This "ride spirit" will be also celebrated in the closing evening: "ALL IN PARTY!"
 
 About the program, the first weekend will be devoted to skateboarding. Thatīs why new modules have been added to the permanent skate park to create original lines. The contest will be judged with a new point system inspired by the “street US league”. The objective : more interaction with the public in selecting head of series and by directly eliminating riders. 
 The second weekend will be dedicated to bmx contests (park, flat and street) with different categories: PROFESSIONAL / AMATEUR / + 15 years-old / - 15 years-old / GIRLS.
 Public price : free for the qualifying round / 3€ for the finals
 Riders price : 10€ for amateurs / 20 € for professionals
 
 RDV on Saturday October 26 for the incredible "All in party !" : 
 - the flat bmx international contest with the best riders out there
 - the bunny up bmx contest (objective : to jump the highest possible with a bmx)
 - the skate out contest (objective : to carry out "one vs one" skateboard figures)
 - the best trick street bmx (objective : to carry out bmx figures on modules who reproduce street ride conditions)
 A mix of some funny ride contests with DJ Vex on turntables  and a big " Radio Nova set" to close the party. 
 Public price : 8€ 
 Riders price : free for registered riders

I had a great time in 2010! It was my first international contest, and I am glad I went.
 
The French riders were very appreciative that I traveled from so far, and I was able to see Paris and ride the Opera spot on this trip. Came back with lots of good memories.
