Summer Trick (VIDEO) Roundup
« on: August 20, 2013, 09:33:56 PM »

Readers of our Facebook page may remember this, but many of you may not know about it yet. Global-Flat is hosting a Summer Trick Roundup. We want to see your new original trick! Let's push our own riding and Flatland further
Rules - send a link to your video to info@global-flat.com or the FB page (don't forget to "Like" us as well).

The video should be short and to the point, with minimal editing. It should have a ride in and ride out; OR a 3 second roll if it's an original rolling position. Please make sure the rider's name is included, as well as the name of the trick if it has one.
All entries will be included in a compilation edit at the end (end of next month?). Is this a contest? Are there prizes? Let's talk about that, and get filming!

Lalo has already sent in the first entry - an original move he calls the "Ninjitflip", and it's sick! Check it out!

Need advice on a trick or filming/editing? The forum can be a good place to get info from other riders.

This has the potential to be really really good. Even Shintaro is sharing this. Lots of people have original moves and this is a great way to spotlight them.

Here's another great entry in the Summer Trick Roundup, this time from Gergely Szajer!
Remember, if you'd like to enter an original trick, you still have untill the end of September to film it. I hope to see lots of riders in this! info@global-flat.com

Ben Querubin - Summer Trick Roundup Entry
« Reply #6 on: August 23, 2013, 08:06:21 AM »

This is a "bars backward hurricane to blunt hop barspin" by Ben - a pegless flatland shredder who is rumored to have a new edit in progress too. (pretty sure it's going to be sick!)

We still have a month left to get original tricks filmed, so good luck everyone!

Thanks for posting my clip jm.

Great riding by everyone!  I think the best part of this is being in the compilation edit with all the other riders at the end!  :)   Am I the only one amped on that?

Everyone get those clips submitted, lets make a really good compilation edit!

I'm actually pretty stoked on seeing all these killer clips in one edit. I can't stress this enough - there is now ONE MONTH LEFT TO FILM so if you're working on something, or have a trick up your sleeve, this is your time to shine! I encourage everyone who is riding right now to try to record one single trick for this. It's not easy, but you will progress. The original tricks do not have to be ground shaking ideas either. Sometimes little things that have been overlooked by other riders can be learned, and very valuable. Best of luck ya'll!

That noseunder is crazy.  Just getting into the balance point would be tough.
