The sprocket in the video shows visible signs of large amounts of wear.
Is this in any way associated to the modification?

Sorry to hear that Topsey, Vimeo has been having many issues lately.

Byke: Please note that the sprocket is one of the original London Bikes Sprockets and I have been riding it for 8 years now. In my FAQ I will address that with the [st]rollercoaster, unlike the Bendix, no force is put on the sprocket or chain.

Really Interested to see how this works! I am waiting for the Eclat Blind Freecoaster but if i like how this works & it does actually work well (Hopefully you'll get the video up on Youtube!!) I may very well purchase this assuming its not like $500 haha. I'm guessing i can run any rear hub i want as the mechanism is in the BB/Sprocket area. Let me know man, i want to see this & really hope it works!

Yup that worked! That is incredible! How does it work? I am seriously considering this now, when you were riding it made no difference to your spins, it looked like you had a freecoaster!! I could technically get a super light Tree Straight Pull cassette & run this then? DO WANT!

EDIT: I want to know how this works haha! I need to understand this better! Is it a Bottom Bracket or something that works with the sprocket or?! How much will it cost also?

Its pretty cool but I could never run it. I move my pedals around to much
in links with my hands/feet to set up for different things.

Hurry Up!! LoL :) Questions...

1. With the Mechanism, does this mean you can run any hub i.e A Cassette.
2. How do the cranks lock? & When you lock them in position will you be able to adjust them when you are moving without the hub engaging & sending you flying onto your ass?!
3. Have you had any issues with the cranks un-locking when you are rolling backwards?
4. When you are rolling backwards does the chain or hub driver move?
5. What exactly is the mechanism? Is it part of the Bottom Bracket or Attached to the Sprocket or?

I'm sure i can think of more haha.

How do you adjust the difference between backpedaling enough to dis engage the freecoaster without engaging the bottombracket?

What happens if your rolling backward with the rollercoaster engaged and the freecoaster engages and wants to back pedal?

I was just wondering.. Are you limited to what cranks you can run? Like 48 Spline only or??
