Devient front and skylark rear.

Super fast hubs with lightweight rims seem to work great for me.

I like the gsport rims- birdcage to be exact. Light with a good design. Great warranty as well.

I've only had a few wheels over the past few years.  Odysseys are great.  I've always used the Hazard Lites, but only because I didn't think saving an ounce or two was worth the extra money for the 7Ks.  I've had the same Hoffman rims on at least one of my bikes since 1999.  Underrated and a very good value.  Buy the good quality wheels and take care of them and they'll last a LONG time.

Sun Envy Rear rim.  Super light weight with eyelet nipple holes to prevent spoke pull through that will happen to the Alienation Deviant and the Gsport Birdcage rims.

Source: I've owned two each of the Alienation Deviant and Gsport Birdcage rims: both cracked at the nipple holes and warped with pull throughs.
The following is the truth.  The preceeding is a lie.

Stephan Cerra once told me that he in the middle of a front wheel spinning trick he cracked the seam of a rim, and was putting so much force on it at the time that it the rim tore in half, blew up his tube, tore the tire, and
tore out a bunch of spokes.  Brutal.

The ALienation Deviants did that to me too. Not worth the weight and shape.

Ody Hazard Lites. Been riding them most of my recent years back on the bike. I feel the same that they were just as good as the 7K's that were only a fraction lighter. Ive ridden Hoffman generators as well with no problems. Like was mentioned above, very underrated rim, and very sturdy.

Also i ride 48s which are getting harder to come by and the ody site has the chrome 48 hazard lites on clearance for 20 bucks a pop...couldnt go wrong. I run them on both my flatland bike and my flt/street/rider bike.

I would not recommend those at all. The chrome flakes off very easily, and the sidewalls can warp and no longer grab onto the bead of tires. I went through like 12 tires in 3 weeks because they kept blowing off the god damn rim. I got a G sport and that stopped immediately.

So yeah, alienation, stay far away from them.
