I was never a huge HUTCH fan BITD, but i can appreciate this build immensely! I really like it!

I just read through the whole post over at BMXMuseum...dude..you reaslly took this build to the next level. I am even more impressed after reading that thread. I am totally doing that mod to my upper gyro cables.

I had a chance to own one But never did. It was a nice frame but weak. Still it was nice looking.

Thanks again!

And yes Highlander the Hutches were know for cracking, this was due to the fact that they used 0.035 wall tubing throughout the whole frame......extremely light but very weak. It is fine for a race bike but has no place on a flatland frame.

This new frame is made of Ox Platinum which has a way higher fatigue strength than standard 4130 chromoly, yet it weighs almost exactly the same.

Yes,there were about 5 at that time (90's) and all were cracked at the seat stays except one purple one that a small kid had that he just used for joy riding completely original! .
I read up on this new beast and i have no doubt its Indestructible!!.

Is this frame just one or will there be more?

Thanks guys.......and sorry for the late response....this is a one-off custom. Rick at Standard Bykes can build you one just like it, and you can even change ANY of the dimensions to your liking.....most of the companies out there only allow you to change head angle and rear end length but with Rick you can change seat tube height/angle, etc.........reach him here:

Frame itself took approximately 3 months to build.
