Alex Jumelin video interview
« on: May 05, 2013, 08:59:01 AM »

As it says on Vimeo this video was part of a student project. It's kind of an interview with Alex about his young years and riding in general. Grab your sunday morning coffee and check it out!

I find it very interesting what Alex says about his motivation of learning new tricks and how he gets bored by things very quickly. As he explains it, I can understand it very well, but nevertheless I could never ride like this. Maybe it is just because I did not spend enough time on my bike. So I learn slowly and this makes it not realistic not to do older tricks anymore. Then I would just do too less tricks...
To be honest I do not like his current tricks so much but I have much respect for him for learning new tricks so consequently. There is basically no rider who comes into my mind who has brought so many new tricks to contest and not repeating old ones for so many years. If you see his tricks from 2000 or 2005, it could just be another rider. Very impressive!
