Ooooo New Frame & Parts On Page Two!
« on: February 10, 2013, 10:22:51 PM »

The custom FBM is almost finished so i thought id post a little sneaky peek!

Front End featuring.. Strand V2s, Plegs & a duel guarded Marmoset.

Benny L Stem, Currently there is a Quamen I-Cap headset dust cap, When Ken @ Zodiac gets around to sending my parts out there will be a custom dust cap!

Eclat OZ seat & 230mm Pivotal post, Merritt stickers that Mike Brennan was kind enough to send me a sh*t ton of them!

Other than the stickers & welded custom badge the BB area is looking abit bare :( I have Flatware Twombolts with a Blue6 Ti Bolt, Eclat BB, Odyssey chain & JC/PC pedals just waiting on the Socket Drive Modded Tree Sprocket From Ken @ Zodiac Eng. Shouldnt be too long now!

Barely used Pleg sleeves. I havent been able to ride too much due to my shoulder so these are barely scratched let alone destroyed!

So thats my sneak peek of the custom FBM, i will post up completed photos when the stuff from Zodiac Eng arrives (soon hopefully!)

When its built ill post up full specs of the frame & bike. Its pretty tech street inspired geo however i can remember old quamens had 76.5 degree head tube angles & people were running zero offset forks with those! Or if you cant wait check out my blog for full specs of the frame!

Yeah my shoulder is pretty messed up. Ive had an operation it to remove bone fragments but the damage was done, one of the nerves in my shoulder area is shredded & needs to be removed so im on Tramadol for the pain & Gabapentin for nerve blocking pain relief. Its not fantastic, im high constantly & cant really do alot. Im sure some people will make the jokes about it must be great being high 24/7 but its really not i cant do anything, cant work, barely ride, cant lift anything very heavy at all, it sucks but this bike is my inspiration to get better & get riding again Operation 2 is on the cards just got to here back from the bloody hospital, ive been refered but theyre taking forever! Good old NHS haha. Thanks for the best wishes.

Waiting on the sprocket. Its a Tree light that Ken @Zodiac Eng will be modding to fit the socket drive flatware cranks that i got from Byke with a sweet Blue6 Ti bolt. Kens also doing me a sweet little headset dust cap with an integrated spacer & a compression bolt thats a little smaller for to fit the Strand 2s with the cut steerer tube. Black sprocket, Polished headset bits. Should really set it off & finish it off great.

Hopefully it will be completed in the next couple of weeks. Ken @ Zodiac Eng has finished the headset bits & is supposedly starting on the sprocket this week. So *Fingers crossed* It will be completed soon.
