A road bike shop in my town wants to start selling bmx parts. Which parts would you buy at a local bike shop? could be as specific as company and model

Odyssey gyro and slick cables
Odyssey Freq-g tires
tubes (generic)
grips, but I'm not picky
Odyssey knarps
Odyssey Twisted PC pedals

Pretty much just stuff that wears out or gets lost easily.

Anything that costs much has such a high markup and lasts so long that it's usually not worth buying locally.

BTW, this is stuff I have bought at a local shop in the last year.

As an extention of what Yeller said... Some 990s and loose parts (springs ).... There are so many small things I check my local shops for and they never have...

Sucks to wait a week to get 14mm to 3/8 axel adapters or a chainring spindle hole adapter in the mail

If there was a store around me that had the little things that are often needed in a pinch I'd be all over it
