Alright, Global-Flat...
I need your help.
Thursday, I have some sort of talent show thing going on at my school and I signed up.
I'm supposed to do flatland, in the dark, with E.L. wire on my bike like that tron bike video on youtube.
One ... BIG.... problem.
Went for a little practice go, I can do Hang 5s Messiahs around the stage, 180s fakieing around everywhere. All those rolling styled tricks..
SPINNING TRICKS- however..
EPIC FAILURE... the ground is terribly slippery... (the stage is pretty big and made out of black painted wood.)
I need some ideas on how to get the ground to grip a lot.  I've been thinking pouring soda on the ground but for now.. I want more ideas because I'm not sure if they will let me :c....  big carpet.... soda on the tires??? maybe it's all the dust on stage?? Anyone have any good ideas that might work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks  :beginner:

1. Take 5lbs out of your tire
2.run a soft compound tire
3. clean tire(s) with tire rag prior to show w/ some sort of alcohol based solution lightly saturated (windex is good, and cheap, but i am sure someone else may have another option)

btw; you mentioned riding on a painted wood surface.... i am assuming it is the ''smooth side''?

good luck

good suggestions^.

some of the softest tires are comets, arestic a-class soft and white suelos.

mopping the floor down with soapy water pior to riding also helps; but not with coke - i don't think the custodians will thank you for that.

Coke? Havnt heard of that for years we used to use that on the vert ramp and the mini ramp when it got slippery if you use a small amount it doesnt go sticky just grippy fill a bucket of water and use 3 parts water to one part coke try not to over do it with the coke though the floor will get super sticky and it will be a bitch to clean.K.wong just pm,ed you about those bars dude cheers for the photos.
