ha, and i thought i was the only one around prefering the lower-end acs 860 over the acs boa. the boa is fine brand new, but once the plastic seals around the bearings disintegrate, the arms will start rattling themself loose and you always notice only when all the bearings have fallen off; and they are next to impossible to find replacements for.
the new s&m forks' width and shape reminded me of odyssey's director forks, really wide up at the crown area, if odyssey's directors have the same rake, i would choose it over the s&m for obvious reasons (proven, thermal 41 treatment, cleaner look & hassle-free warrenty.)
The hole is to big for a centerpull brake but you could probably make an adapter to fit.
you need to run a step down washer...

Bingo. Are those S&M forks with that hole? And is that a Boa? Nice F'n ride Sin!
looks like a bulldog- type caliper to me, with plastic nut cover.
like byke would say:
pir does, lol;
the 860 bolt is flush at the front where it matters
