New trend: 24mm crank spindles...

(1/2) > >>

out~riding:
It seems to be the new trend out there...

24mm spindles...

FIT are one of the first coming out with these bigger spindles, they argue that it's stronger.

The negative side is that you need a new 24mm BB set and there's not a lot to choose from.

Also not all sprockets will fit... only the ones with 15/16 (23.8mm) bore.

out~riding:
The FIT Indent cranks are out in 165 / 170 /175mm

But the BB is only available in MID size...

EZChris:
stronger axle but weaker bearings.

i go through BBs once every six month or something.

I'll be staying with 19mm!

What BB do you have? They are the same bearing size as a Spanish 22 I'm pretty sure
