This month’s interview is a really good one on so many levels. Monika is such an inspirational character in the BMX world (so much so, I thought I’d already interviewed her…), from her riding to her photography, and her positive outlook and attitude on life.  This was a pleasure to put together, and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did, and take some positive energy from it too.

My mother taught me to never ask a lady her age...but she started riding in 89?  That's awesome.  We rarely ever heard of female riders then.  Almost never.   And she won the worlds in 91 and 09.  That's even more awesome.

I always thought flatlanders could do any trick they know on any day if they practiced it enough. I felt somedays some tricks just don't work. Glad to read someone else and possibly others feel the same way . IT'S NOT JUST BECAUSE I SUCK =D

If there were a "like" button Id have hit it 3 times...once cuz she gets down on a bike, again to unlike for the Angus Young suit.lol, and again, cuz like I said, she gets down. =)
