KHE Flatland PRO Killer-Kit for 2012
« on: May 14, 2012, 08:15:26 PM »
This is how KHE sees Flatland in the future: "We like to present you our KHEbikes Flatland PRO Killer-Kit for 2012". It's looks pretty good even tho we are not so entirely sure about that seat. But at least Alex would probably agree.. what do you think?

Frame: KHEbikes A-Damn PRO
 Fork: KHEbikes Addict
 Handlebar: KHEbikes A-Blast
 Seat: KHEbikes Exhib
Stem: KHEbikes Minimalism V2 (proto type - available next year)

reminds me of the old time when frame and forks were sold together! I think this is for the rider who is just starting and wants to build a bike from scratch ? otherwise if your bike is already built you don't often want to change that much at once, you don't need to, what do yout think ? i could imagine myself bying a new frame and and a fork at the same time, but chances are low that id want to buy a bar, stem and seat/seatpost too..? So it could be interesting as a starting point for begginers. in that perspective only the price will make this idea valuable...

Strange choice of seat/post... would have expected a Prismatic/Watanabe combo.

I like the idea of a frame and fork set, perhaps cranks too, but other things like the seat and the bars are kind of a personal choice I guess.

just my take

I'm admittedly out of touch, but why does the seat not have hand holds when every link these days involves a steamroller?  Why?

This makes perfect sense. Basically what KHE is saying is that theyre probably not going to offer flatland completes in the very near future. Probably using this as a replacement. They may offer the lower end completes but I bet this replaces the Pro complete.

Ok those bars and the frame are nowadays trend and what people are riding lately, but I just don't get what's with that seat. Maybe you don't need the 33cm of almost every single pivotal post sold today but that really seems like a 10cm post and a seat without a handgrab!

You can see the stem on one of the pictures at their official website. Nothing very new though
