What issue are you having with the drop outs  ::)

I noticed that your chain has alot of slack in it... Could it be an adjustment issue  ::)

If so.. there is an easy fix to this  :beer:

It's just a matter of calculation between the drop out length and the number of teeth your sprocket has in order to get it where you want rest the wheel in the drop out  :)

I bet you're running a 25t  ::)

You can go down or up, but you have to skip two teeth in order to get the ideal adjustment within the drop outs length  B)

I recently went through this issue w/my Intrikat. With help frm MAYTRICKS it was solved but not before going through some gear and chain adjustments. Running a geisha 9t coaster we  tried my regular gear 23t then 25t but both  didn't go well w/the chain. I wanted to put chain tencioners but this clearly wasn't going to happen so i at least wanted to run the wheel all the way foward to have min wheelbase. Lastly MAYTRICKS found a 24t sprocket he had and this worked perfectly but the chain has to be taken apart to remove wheel.

I solved my chain issues with the odyssey bluebird chain and used the halflink. With a new chain there is a setting in/stretching period, so at first you may need run it longer. Then you can pop the chain off and use the shorter end.

Opps!  ::) I forgot to mention the rear cog size... The formula I gave you was with a 11t cog size using a 3/8 axle and yes, the 24t cog size will work with the 9t  :beer:

But, with this rear end being at such a tight tolerance, you don't need to run tensiors. The chain plays in the sizing as well..

For example.. a regular chain with a half link or a full half link chain will vary in how much room is in the drop out  :beer:

The size of the axle will change this as well  3/8 vs 14mm

But once you find your gearing it is well worth having the back end set at such a tight hearing your wheel go THUNK! Rather than Chainy Rattle!  :beer:

Yeah It's 25t/9t 14mm axle
