Odyssey Chase bars snapped mid whiplash

Im currently learning multiple whiplash's, and was out for about 10mins did probably 10 whips (Not in a row lol...)
Then next thing i know im on the floor with a grip still in my hand! Im not calling out the product or anything like that, parts break thats just how it goes... Just thought it was funny so i thought i would share!

I cracked my last pair of precision bars, and I'm thinking about getting some from Dan's , but I'm kinda leary about it b/c I don't want to end up w/ the old version.

Yes the V2's have thicker tubing and a less agressive angle by the weld... The angle by the weld is an obvious weak point, the other side has a crack also! Loved the geometry tho even if the were a little wide for me.
I just ordered the Bayou bars, look the same but without the bend on the weld. Not as wide and not as tall but with zero sweep just how i like. Im a short ass so the smaller specs suits me better

Thanks Rob, I had that in my mind this whole time , so thanks for setting me staight. Just sometimes its easier to get things from Dan's cuz its next day. For the few days I would have to wait, it would be well worth not injuring myself.

Andrew parkin said he snapped 2 maybe 3 pairs of these last year and said he was not riding hard at all

I was dying to get a pair of these luckily some T4's came up first

I got the flatware bayou not the chase... These bars have Odyssey's 41 thermal lifetime warranty ;

I know, really lucky.... I did notice they had a crack at TGM! Second set of bars I've had do that.... Lol
