Don't spend money just to make the bike lighter, in my opinion!

Just ride a lot....you'll get stronger and the bike will become more manageable, AND you'll have that $$ to spend when you need to replace actually broken parts..have fun!

Id also wait a little while, See how commited you are & if you stick with it you've already got lighter tyres if i were in your shoes id save up & buy a new wheelset. Doesnt have to be super expensive but you can lose some serious weight getting new wheels.

Sounds like your commited then :) Save up for a decent wheelset you will lose some serious weight. 36h, Double Butted Spokes, Alloy Nipples & lightweight rim. I mean you can get rims that weigh like 11oz now. I would go for something around 15/16oz though.

Working with $100 my suggestions are the following.

-Light inner tubes
-Aluminum pegs
-Pivotal seat and post combo or KHE seat and post

Lightening theses parts will change the overall feel of your bike shaving weight at the ends and middle opposed to either or. You may however have to shop around to fit all of these parts into your budget but, that can be fun. Feel free to message me for some leads on deals whether on new or used parts.

how does wheel set work? (I been riding for few years always ask around if stuff fits on my bike before purchassing) HAHA.

So a wheel set is from the wheel componotents on flatland fuel?
And for the rims.
I just baught the tires so could i still use them if i changed rims and wheel? Thanks for info guys

Basically, you need to buy Rim, Hub & Spokes & get it laced up (Pat @ Flatland fuel will do it) You just need to get 3/8ths (10mm) Axles.

3/8" for the front and 14mm for the rear.
