16T is pretty small. Look at how your chain stay is elevated a little on the BB. The chain may slap the stay a bit here and there, close but it should work. I'm not sure of your Eco crank and an English sprocket though. It depends on which Eco you have. Before 2009, I believe all STM cranks had a thread on sprocket.
