i had one of those two piece piviotals come apart, but i epoxy'd it back together and it worked just fine for a year afterwards

Basically, on some of the old pivotal posts.... The pivotal section cracked away from the post as they were badly glued together. What I hope to do is get ahold of this top part. If you have that broken piece, I will gladly cover costs etc if you are willing to part with it.

But it needs to be that broken piece and not just a short or over cut old post.

Byke, what are you up to? Making a 7/8" pivotal post?

The bond is broken but hasn't completely separated. I can cut it shorter and you can do the finishing.
