hmm need some advice on fit bike
« on: February 24, 2012, 11:00:23 AM »
got ahold of a 2012 fit bf1 from a buddy for a good price, seems like a reasonable bike but i'm completely new to everything that is flatland. i'm wondering if the HT angle or  gear ratio (25/9) are of any concern, or if there is anything else that i need to look into or adjust. once again i'm a complete noob but any help is greatly appreciated haha

also, here is a link to the same model

http://fitbikeco.com/bf-1-white/

thanks.

20.5" is for dude as tall as matthias
cs, low cut should also be concerned while choosing a frame
Just ask yourself if you want to do flatland or are you matthias?

maybe a headtube slacker if u dont like the angle of the headtube. Also maybe slam the back wheel if you find the wheelbase a little long.

Ride the hell out of whatever you have.

That bike should be great with some pegs and either adding some brake parts or removing them completely.

The bike won't be your limiting factor for a long time and by then you'll know what fits you best.

Better riders than any of us have ridden some horrible bikes. (Wilkerson Air Lines anyone?)
