i wish i could go but i am pretty far away in the U.S.
what i hate about England and London is that there is
always sh*tty weather there and even in the summer
it is pissing down rain or showering just enough to make
the ground wet. Everytime im there it rains like 80% of
the time in the summer i am there...arghhh!

I guess the surface there at the Green Mile is really good
and disabsorbs water and dries out quick so that is a plus
but when it is off and on showers all day does not help the
cause no matter what type of surface you have. i guess me
being an non local knows pretty much alot about LondonTown
since i been there enough times and i would like to ride at the
Green Mile at some time soon.

heya h-man
do you live in LondonTown or outside in boroughs.
i was there 2 weeks and it rained or showered 10
out of the 14 days i was there and drove me nuts
but i was able to walk around and see all the sites
and hit many of the museums.

i stayed in Mayfair near the U.S. Embassy at Grosvenor
Square if you know where that is..Near bond Street and
below the Roosevelt Memorial..i usually took the Underground
at Bond Street or walked up to Oxford Street. Hyde Park was like
4 blocks from the hotel and they have an excellent bird sanctuary
there and gardens..not a good place to walk after dark tho.

Back in those days i took the underground to Embankment from
Bond Street..central line to Oxford Circus to the Bakerloo line
to Embankment stop and get off and go across the bridge to
Southbank. That was in like 2003 when there was some riders still
there at Southbank riding..very few.

yeah i still got the sites and smell of the underground in me
yuck!
