I was trying to do a wheelchair glide and i thought looking up some videos would help and i found a video of a crackpacker and it looks like the same trick. Is there just two names for this trick or am i missing the difference?

Nothing really, though I'm sure that won't stop some flatland historian hung up on trick names from coming on here and trying to explain one. lol

i think that the difference is that in a crack you don't scuff.
If I ever see a flat rider do a hop-to-wallride, my head would explode.

no no no
wheelchair= scuffing
wheelchair glide= rolling
crackpacker= rolling with seat post between legs (think cliffhanger with body facing the back of bike)

Yeah, need Pete Brandt in here.  Wheelchair glides predate the crackpacker, but the above explanation is dead on, and a wheelchair glide is to a crackpacker what a hang five is to a cliffhanger.  Just very different tricks.

Doing a wheelchair glide, typically with bars forward, you put the seat in your crotch then take your hands off.

Not sure if this link will work, and I'll try to attach a photo of a proper crackpacker.  It does seem like any no-handed wheelchair glides may constitute a crackpacker, but no-hands is a must...

Crackpacker is just a double footed Wheelchair Glide...not with the seat between your legs as described above.  A backwards Cliffhanger is called a Coathanger.

Wheelchair Glide is one footed.

Sorry Ultraman!  Ha, ha...

Always thought Crackpacker was spinning Wheelchair... atleast that's how Pete demonstrates it in that video he did recently about inventing it.

Crackpacker is a wheelchair glide with seat between legs.
It's as obnoxious to hear a wheelchair glide called a crackpacker as seeing someone spell "brakes" (the things used to stop your wheel on your bike or car) as "breaks" (what happens when something becomes damages beyond use).
The following is the truth.  The preceeding is a lie.

Crack Packer Origins with Pete Brandt for FlatMatters

This video shows a Crack Packer, a Wheel Chair Glide(like Pete says, originally a scuffing trick) is one foot on peg, the other foot(the one that would be used to scuff) extended out for balancing.  I'm just going by what we and(Freestylin' magazine) called tricks in 88.  Maybe the name changed over time like a Dave Duster.

Anywho, just all names...you call it Stick Bitch, I call it Caboose.
