About 1 year ago we mentioned Motel Works for the first time. In the meantime Kotaro kept pushing his project and came up with the second version of the AUX complete bike. The 2012 version comes with a 18.8" top tube and other smaller refinements. You can find the technical details in our forum or on motelworks.com

Besides the complete bikes Kotaro is organizing BMX school events in Japan. You can find a report with many photos on his personal blog and there is also a
video of a previous event Small | Large
on youtube. Keep up the good work Kotaro!

here is the online translation from their website:

Quote
Origin of brand name

Things that can not afford to the lives of riders fighting the world. That's the motel. Of course the original purpose of staying is of course not only that. I met other riders at the motel, practicing with them, laughing, and heading towards the next destination, with 'Where and next where motels are!' As a parting speech. Mr. Kotaro Tanaka also cultivated friendship with riders all over the world, learned the words and polished his skills. It is a place absolutely indispensable in talking about the lifestyle called flat lander, and communication is spreading place. Without the name BIKE, the reason why I decided to make it WORKS is not only the BMX but also the desire to make it a brand that proposes the entire lifestyle surrounding it.

Good to know there was an inspiration behind it and not just some shoddy translation
