I lived with Chase one winter, just before he "retired" from competing...Incredible only began to describe his riding in the 90's, his brakeless era pushed flatland so far! It was fun riding with Chase, afterward we'd munch on well-done Caesar's breadstix & Mt. Dew, his fav meal then. He had just learned decade to megaspin, awesome trick when done at Chase-speed! It sucks Chase can't ride due to his ailment, wish Docs here in the U.S. could help him out. I was thinking he  had border clearance indef., he could cross over for any reason...i.e. he could enter and leave like a US citizen. I will try to contribute when I can, hopefully a jam with donations can be held for him too!

Feel sorry for you Chase.
I`ve donated only 10$ and apoligise for such a small sum but I`ll make a post soon on my slocial network page for all my fellow russian riders to be aware of the situation. Also will try to push the news to one of Moscow`s flatland site.

Wish you best luck !
Better to ride not so smooth but with your own style, than trying to be a copy.

Dude, this whole matter is utterly devastating!
I´ll try to donate at least 50 bucks as soon as I get my money, which should be in next few days.

And here´s just a thought-provoking impulse for us all:
I was having a drink last weekend and spend nearly 50 bucks ... for my understanding it is absolutely self-evident to help a seriously affected fella and EVERYBODY is able to stay at home just for one weekend in a month and donate the "saved money" right here!?!?
It´s just a matter of humanity in my opinion..

Get well soon Chase!

All sales will go towards the Chase G fund.

Get well soon Chase.

Donations may be sent via paypal to the following email chasegouinrecoveryfund@gmail.com
Chase’s close personal friend Ryan Quinn has set up the paypal account on Chase’s behalf since Chase doesn’t have a credit card. So don’t be alarmed if Ryan’s name shows up on your paypal receipt. All of your donations are going directly to supporting Chase’s recovery mission.

 Sincerely,

   Brandon Fenton

***Attention*** We got our wires crossed about the right e-mail address for paypal. It has now been corrected. For anyone who has donated already to the other e-mail please cancel your payment and make it out to the correct e-mail address above. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Enough! I grow weary of your foolishness ninjas.

Just out of interest, I rememeber reading chase and nasal surgery in the 90's .... What was this surgery and what brought it on? Could this bare any relevance to the face pain (sinus related)

Yes he had a botched nasal surgery in Germany years ago. At the beginning of his recent health battles that is what he thought it was about but several different nasal specialists said that it wasn't and that they would not perform nasal surgery on him.

I really hope things work out for him. I lived in a moldy basement for five years and I'm certain my health troubles over the past few years have had something to do with being in that type of environment.
