So desperate on tricks

hey guys, hong konger here. I have been playing flatland for like 1 years, still can't get the forward steamroller.
I stand with my left leg, grab the seat with my right hand. after i grab the seat, my left was so pain.
What do i do wrong?
need some help :(

Sounds like you are putting a lot of weight on your wrist.
Try to focus more weight onto your left leg. Your right hand does need to counter weight the leg and will take quite a load, but it should not cause too much discomfort.

another question:
if the trick is going forward, e.g. forward steamroller, then my foot should go like pushing, and then my right hand is doin counter so i should push the seat a little bit?
do i have the right concept?

Sounds right to me.
You could also try some wider bars. This will give you more leverage for your hand and should help with the pain you are suffering from.

tried a street bar with high backsweep angel, it feel better
but seems harder to control in other tricks
