« on: July 27, 2011, 04:35:28 PM »
Country: United States
Location: DunnTire Raceway Park 57 Gunnville Road, Lancaster, NY
Date: 13.08.2011 - 14.08.2011

The 2011 Am Flatland Circuit has had an unusual theme; cars.  Three  of Five Rounds of this BMX Flatland series have taken/or will take place  at an event built around cars.  The Indy 500, Tuner Evolution and now  Battle at the Border.  After the cancelation of the DK Warehouse  Flatland Contest the circuit looked for a suitable replacement for the  5th and Final Round.  Look no further.

The “Battle at the Border” has become a staple for custom vehicles to  attend from all over the NorthEast USA and SouthEast Canada.  The event  has been written about on different online websites and in Performance  Auto and Sound Magazine.

This years show features: Car Show, Drag Racing, Drifting, Stunt  Bikes, Bikini Contest, Vendor Area AND BMX FLATLAND!  For the first time  the Battle at the Border will feature the Am Flatland Circuit BMX  Flatland Series.

Lancaster, NY is a suburb of Buffalo and is about 20 minutes from the  world famous Niagara Falls which makes this event a must attend!!  Mark  your calenders now!

Flatland Info:   The flatland contest will have a roughly 40 x 40 riding area.  This  contest will be slightly more laid back than previous circuit events.   The main focus will be to have a final AMFLT event where awards ceremony  will take place.  The event will start on August 13th with a  prejam/practice session.  The contest will take place Sunday August 14th  starting at 10am with an after party to follow (more info TBD).

Classes:  Beginner/Intermediate, Veteran, Expert, Master and Pro

Purse:   The Pro Purse for Battle at the Border will be slightly smaller than  previous rounds.  100% of registration fees will go to pay the Top 3  Pros.  Any addition sponsorship money recieved before the event will be  put towards the Pro Purse.

Schedule: The contest will start at 10am on Sunday.  Exact class details TBD.

Hotel Info: Coming Soon

In the meantime, please check out the Battle at the Border website for further info on the car show.
