New Quamen flatland stem!
« on: July 25, 2011, 07:50:22 PM »
First off, Hello  -_-   How is everyone (and TJ) doing?

I just got some pictures of the new Quamen stem and decided to share with you guys! I rarely visit here nowadays because of other interests and been busy doing my own thing for over a year now, but I am still down for flatland and just need to finish building up a bike!

This is their latest flatland part: Its a 30mm reach, independent clamp design and guaranteed to open a bottle in one try. For maximum security, the cap's front adds more material to the bar. For more info, email: info@quamenbikes.com

griOt, do you have any info on the weight and the distance between the botton of the stem and the center of the griptube? Thanks!

Stem looks nice.  I like the topload with minimal offset.  So does the front of the cap always sit flush with the lower part?

« Reply #9 on: July 25, 2011, 10:16:08 PM »
Our good old friend Anthony posted photos of the new Quamen stem in the forum. Its a 30mm reach, independent clamp design and guaranteed to open a bottle in one try. For maximum security, the capīs front adds more material to the bar. Youīll even find some proof on YouTube:
Quamen Bottle Opener Stem Small | Large
. Big Global-Like!

We also managed to miss the Ocho Grande bar! According to Quamen itīs macho size with 8.75" rise and a weight of 816g / 1.80lbs! Itīs available on Flatlandfuel for 150$.

Is there enough space to accommodate large compression bolts such as KHE?
