If I was a judge, I would vote for iceqb25 too because of his nice backwards hitchiker and hang 5

Great effort by you guys! Really good beginner stuff from both guys... iceqb25 should be ahead slightly due to showcasing some forward rolling and double footed skills in his run. Loved Maax's flowed out one-handed mccircle line...

Vote for max. Ice has no cranks, which makes most of what he does easier. Yeah, he had some forward rolling stuff, but without having to even fight the weight of a drivetrain it's not that different of a balance point than if you had used an unbike. Sorry Ice, but put some cranks on and I'll feel differently.

Damn... didn't even notice he didn't have cranks on. That's what I get for quick views of the battles during work... that definitely changes the dynamic on things like a bw hiker. Minus points, but in that case, depends on how the judges feel. Could there be some official way of factoring in crankless for the judges to follow, or is it just going to remain some kind of gray area every battle?

If dudes do not have cranks, it is very unlikely they will be getting my vote. Either put them on and ride a bike, or don't and gamble.

Pretty tight battle. Thought Maax's McCircle rideout was sick (the way the cranks spin is funny, too) and I'm gonna try to bite that one! I think the battle would be a lot closer if you had stuck something else in besides the bar hop, though. Took up a lot of your time and I bet you had some other cool tricks you coulda used there. Double foot and no-handing the ride in the barhop is kinda hard though.

Ice's Steam reload was pretty cool too. You don't see that a lot in beginners videos. BW hiker, Hang 5 and BW Peg Wheelie combo (interesting rideout) were pretty serious, but you gotta get them cranks so we can stop bugging you about it.

ha ha i  have cranks but trust me, it doesnt change the balance really with them off. i cant do anything different with or without them. i only took them off cuz i dont do any tricks involving the pedals and i always get hit in the shins. my bike still weighs about 24 pounds. i can put them back on cuz i dont wanna loose simply because i prefer to ride without them
