holy crap, thats pretty crazy
i just want to be able to turbine once, then the whole 360 once i get comfortable

i went and rode for a couple hours today and lowering my seat an inch feels a lot better. still roughly stem height

the problem i have with leaning forward and inward is falling forward or losing the spin and the back drops down. it never reaches that point where it turbines.

i'll get a video up tomorrow. just too damn beat right now

well, you have some way to go.

it looks like you have a bit problems with hang 5's in circles

it's hard to tell what's wrong. go in a small angle, then widen it and throw yourself back, and put your weight to the other side, so you begin to spin a bit, then while doing this already think of your leg going smoothly in front of the fork and kicking the tire.

I can do hang 5 turbines in large circles for a long time.

maybe I'll post a video this evening. (after 12hours)

i can do hang5's in circles pretty well, but when i try to lean inward and forward more, the backend just drops or i go over the bars.

so are you more "forcing" the turbine?

and yea i was filming, got a cheap $40 camcorder so i dont have to bring my laptop everytime

sorry, I forgat to film those turbines today and I won't be able to ride for more than a week.

hmm, forcing of course, hang 5 turbines aren't like relaxing peg manual turbines

tip:

when you get to the point of rolling backwards, in the same moment when puting the foot for the kick spin your bars a lot to the right side, so you can turbine it better and get a decent kick

hey no problem man, i rather have this thread be a big one topic deal, rather than lots on threads on the same topic

everyone can share their input and questions here.

and i'll keep that in mind ondo, once i get the backwards roll going

BRON,

In order to turbine you need to carve tighter. In order to carve tighter you should tilt your right bar-end more towards the ground. As you slowly carve tighter and tighter, the turbine will come...whether you force it or not.

I find that the majority of the bike is almost vertical because your tipping so much on the carve when your about to spin to the tightest point and turbine.

As you get better you can force the carve tight (you'll lose speed) at any time.

getting the turbine was easy as hell for me...the hard part is getting the scuff. i still dont get it. do you turn your bars to get the scuff or no???

btw b_ron go faster and just lean into the center of the circle, stay on your bike and there is the turbine

I don't turn the bars. Sometimes I do, like ondo sad, and all turns out better ^_^.
