Quamen Clad's G7-G8's

Very curious,where the heck are these frames?Who still rides one?They are so rare specially w/990's.Maybe people have some hanged on their wall or something!

I'd guess the reason you don't see too many Blitz frames is because it's damn expensive...

i've got a super nice g8 without mounts in satin black.  it just sits in my basement now that i ride my Ketch.

I still have mine. I haven't been able to ride it as much as I'd like lately but its still solid. I picked it up the day they came back from powdercoat at Quamen. It was one of the very first ones.

Here is my G7 that I traded to Ultraman Zoffy for a Gamma (thanks Ultraman Zoffy.  That was a fun bike.)  All of my Quamens have had mounts.

I am intersted in their frames. From what i gather, they have a good feel and are made in the U.S. I have read much on this site about the dropouts bending. Does this happen on all models? From my reading I got the idea that the Clad G9 was their top model, yet the Cypher is more expensive on FF. Is that expense due to its low weight.

Im not sure about these comments about the dropouts,wide rear end and Euro BB.Ive had 2 Clad's and i never had any trouble with them.And of course am in plans of getting another one.
