Concerning the Heresy look a like frame, I'm not even sure that the down & top tubes were completly welded to the head tube on their batch. I mean it takes really longer and a particular/specific chronology to weld properly the head tube connexion. You need to weld the down tube/head tube first, keeping unwelded the other extremity (BB side), in order to be able to introduce the top tube. If you don't do that, you just can't weld the complete circumferance of the tube. According to the way BMX frames are made by the Taiwanese company, I don't think they'll weld that kind of frames that way...When you know that seat tube/BB weren't even welded together on some KGB frames (that's whey they all broke in that area), it makes me think that the one I made will be stronger, because we take as much time as needed to weld custom parts properly. It's the same problem for most DTT frames back in the day, only 1.5 of the 2 tubes were welded to the head tube.
