Some news after this laborious summer break...

New removable brake mounts :

A new bar stem combo (the "burr" stem combo, in reference to the burr puzzle) is scheduled and will simply be the best bar stem combo ever made from an ergonomic and aesthetic point of view.

Stay tuned...

No, the Yoru looks like that :

The last frame shown (this one) :

is more like my personnal frame,

The difference with Yoru frame are :

-the dropouts
-the rear tubes are swaged
-complex wishbone and bridge
-integrated seat post clamp
-different seat stays/seat tube connexion.

Here's the last street custom frame for Clément Baes with the following specifications :

-TT =  21"
 -CS = 13.5"
 -HA = 75°
 -SA = 71°
 -standover 8.6"
 -Wishbone on chainstays
 -dropouts for female hub
-Spanish BB
 -BB height = 295mm
 -Integrated pivotal seat tube
-Gussets for top & down tubes
 -Weigth: 2050 g

and you can check out the following video where this frame is severly tested :

Here are some "spy pics" of the "Burr stem" combo.
I keep the concept secret (patent pending).
This one is for me. It takes as long as making a frame...
I'm already thinking to a simplified version...

Wow, sweet frame Malo, congratulations once again.

I wish you'd make like a batch of these frames so they could be cheaper.

BTW what is the chain stays length at its maximum, 12.9", 13.something?

cheers

Alex

Thank you Alex,

concerning the CS length, I use the following method :

the customer tells me his desired CS.
I asked him his gear ratio.
I calculate the closest value of the desired CS, according to his gear ratio.
This value+2 mm (chain stretching) gives me the CS maximum.
And my dropouts are designed so that you can move your wheel 9 mm forward.

To answer your question, for this frame :

CS min. : 12.4"
CS max. : 12.77"

First, it's not a catalog's product, but a single exemplar, with different specifications.

Instead of asking what would Ares say about this copy, rather ask yourself if the Suparna is an "original" design or a copy of something older ?

Almost 20 years ago this kind of combo already existed :

Why ? Because it's simply the most simple shape you can have, from a drawing and building point of views...
