He needs to add plates to the front end for strength above the HT and below the DT. It wouldn't add much weight and it would add a considerable amount of strength where it's desperately needed.

thats a good idea bro.

Although i never had a problem with my old metro, i think this being added to both the metro and the instrumental would make the frames that much more bombproof. I loved my metro and will likey get another if i can.

i would possibly be interested in an Instrumental though...but id want 18.75tt and it will be a while before i get the cash for a frame, so i dunno if i can help in this quest for 9 more interested parties.

+1 I cracked my frame at the head tube top tube joint area..

a normal rear spacing would be great...

Glad I'm not the only one. Mine has about one more session in it before the DT snaps off completely.

And yes, normal rear spacing with 1mm thicker dropouts. No reason not to do that.

thatīs sad.
Donīt get me wrong im not complaining..  Sick child frames are the best frames i had, but it can be improved a little bit as tj stated above.

tj: you should reweld it as i did 3 times and still can ride/enjoy it

That's most likely what I'm going to have to do.
