Frame: Ketch - Karma V2
« on: March 25, 2011, 09:36:29 AM »
The guys at Ketch emailed us details on the Karma V2 frame. Itīs not exactly a dedicated flatland frame but they are going to sell it with top tube lengths between 19" and 21".

More specs: 75° headtube, 71° seattube, 13.65" chainstay and chromoly tubing made in USA.

I've passed this request along to the big guy.  I think (don't quote me) that there are plans in place for a new frame jig which will allow more adjustability in the front (18"-22") and in the rear (13"-14.5")

1year against breaking/cracking (same as s&m i believe)

the rear stays are the same length as an ltf.  i think the thought process behind it was because most of the frames are larger tt.  to a 20.5" tt 13.65 "IS" slammed, but to a 19"  it's kinda long.  remember though, the big daddy had a18.75"tt and a 14.25" rear and that was slammed to the wishbone...

I think a rear end that includes 13-13.5" range would make this frame a serious contender in the flatland market. It looks really good!

the geometry sounds fair but the design is like race, street, vert frames,NOTHING TO DO WITH FLATLAND

That particular frame was a longer one that was photographed for the company web page.  Here is a 19" below so you can see the shorter lines.  This model that is right on for flat.

Thank you all very much and I love the feed back guys.  Having a wide range of rider input very valuable.  I can assure you Mike really appreciates this.

I am 5' 9" so you can see it is not too long.
