Pray for Japan - Charity T-Shirts by 430
« on: March 15, 2011, 11:38:49 AM »
"Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the northern region of Japan, 430 will sell charity T-Shirts and donate all the profit to the Japanese Red Cross Society, to help relief and recovery efforts in communities affected.

It is reported that the death toll could reach tens of thousands. More than 520,000 citizens are in refugee camps in fear of aftershocks and radiation from damaged nuclear power plants.

All we can do is donate and pray."

 Hiroshi Uehara (430 CEO)

Sorry. we can not accept overseas mail-order. If you want to buy it, please send us an email to info@decadeshop.com.

Because there are riders from Japan who read Global-Flat.

If you want to help and/or donate then you can find information on:

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/03/14/tsunami-aid-and-relief-how-you-can-help/
or
http://edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/impact.your.world/
or

and many other websites.

They need to fix something that they will be available overseas, I think there can be a big interest for this.

Why won't any shops in Japan ship overseas?  I ran into this same problem trying to get DVDs from there... it's crazy.  I ship online orders from the U.S. to Japan all the time... it's a piece of cake.  Seems like they're missing out on a pretty big potential market...

I sent an email to Decade and here is their response...

I'm sorry to inform that the website isn't capable of accepting international orders. But please do know that your inquiries and sympathies are greatly appreciated.

A possible method is for you and your friends who wants the shir to combine few shirts into one order, so I can ship it out all at once.
In that case, you can pay for the item and shipping fee via paypal.

Thanks, from the bottom of my heart. Japan will not lose!

Hiroshi

I forwarded this to Pat at Flatland Fuel to see if he might be willing to help organize a group buy for these through his website.  I certainly would order one and I hope that others would as well...

I already donated via American Red Cross here...

...but I would be more than willing to donate again if it meant getting a 430 shirt :)

I'm sure if you email them, they'll work it out. I would guess their e-comm site just isn't set up for international orders, so they have to be handled specially. Just a guess though.
