Exclusive: KHE - A-Damn 2012 frame
« on: February 07, 2011, 05:56:06 PM »
Here it is! Exclusive on Global-Flat - the first photos of the new KHE A-Damn 2012 frame. In order to make the frame stronger and stiffer the design was changed to straight tubes. The tube walls are as thick as the ones used for street frames. Therefore the frame got a little heavier ( 1710g = 3.78lbs ). Adam is going to test the prototype in the next months and the frame will be available around November / December 2011.

Lengths: TT: 18,9", CS: 12.6"-13.8" (middle 13.2"), ST: 7"

You can find more information and photos in our parts section: KHE - A-Damn 2012

Are these specs right? Says no mounts but the one Adam is holding has mounts. Also says euro BB, but it looks like a mid or spanish bb to me, no threads. I could be wrong but I'm just writing what I see.
Good looking frame tho/ nice geo.

Looks like they made a frame that is exactly what I'm looking for.  I just hope they stick to the release date.

This news comes to early, lets see, from what they say it seems that the 2011 A-Damn isn't strong enough so they changed the design.

The new version is only available in a years time and in the meantime who is going to buy a 2011 A-damn knowing it's not strong enough?

It's actually without brake mounts. Only this single prototype has them.

I dunno, if it wasn't KHE logo slapped on i'd say ok, but since it's KHE it's really a meh feeling for me, but we see closer to the time :), no brake mounts? Everyone rides without em these days or what?

Nice Frame, i like it. I like it more as the actuall version of the Frame.

Are the Dropouts strong enought? Because they're really really small.

We'll see, it's just a Prototype Frame.

Bad promotion for the comp idd, but honestly.
They gonna make a stronger and stiffer desing, not a bad idea if you look at the rear wheel at the landing in video below

it might have to do with the straight tube trend.
